Don’t Skip 10 Morning Words God Wants You to Speak

DON’T SKIP – 10 MORNING WORDS GOD WANTS YOU TO SPEAK

Heavenly Father, this morning we rise with open hearts.
We come not with empty words, but with faith, surrender, and love.
You have placed 10 words in our hearts today.
Words to shape our morning. Words to guide our steps.
Words to invite your presence into every part of our lives.

And so, Lord, we begin.

Word 1: THANK YOU

Father, the first word of this day is “thank you.”
Thank you for waking us up.
Thank you for breath in our lungs, for beating hearts, for strength in our bodies.
Thank you for a roof over our heads, food on our table, family, and friends.

Thank you for grace—grace that forgives, lifts, and restores us.
Thank you for mercy that is new every morning.
Thank you for love that never ends and faithfulness that never fails.

We thank you in advance for today.
We don’t know what this day holds, but we know you hold it.
So, Lord, we declare: Thank you—for all you’ve done, all you’re doing, and all you’re about to do.

Word 2: FORGIVE ME

Lord, the second word is “forgive me.”
Forgive us for wrong thoughts, careless words, and selfish actions.
Forgive us for doubting, for fearing, for wasting opportunities.

Wash us clean today.
Renew our minds. Restore our spirits.
Let the blood of Jesus cover us once again.

And as you forgive us, help us forgive others.
Break every chain of bitterness, grudges, and resentment.
Fill us with love, grace, and mercy.

We speak it now: Forgive me, Lord. Change me. Mold me. Fill me again with your Spirit.

Word 3: GUIDE ME

Father, we say: Guide me, Lord.
This day is a path we have never walked before.
You see the end from the beginning. You are our Shepherd.

Guide our steps in righteousness.
Guide our words with truth and grace.
Guide our thoughts to align with your will.
Guide our hands so that all we do prospers in your name.

Lead us away from temptation and danger.
Lead us into open doors, divine appointments, and blessings.

We declare it with faith: Guide me, Lord. Be my compass. Be my light in the dark.

Word 4: STRENGTHEN ME

Father, we confess—without you, we are weak.
Our bodies get tired, our minds weary, our hearts heavy.
But in you, we rise again.

Strengthen us for today.
Strengthen us for the tasks ahead, the people we serve, and the burdens we carry.
Strengthen us physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

When fear rises, be our boldness.
When discouragement comes, be our courage.
When doubt whispers, be our faith.

We declare: Strengthen me, Lord. Not by might, not by power, but by your Spirit.

Word 5: USE ME

Lord, we don’t want to live only for ourselves.
We want to be vessels in your hands.

Use me to bring light where there is darkness.
Use me to speak life where there is despair.
Use me to show kindness, to give freely, to reflect Jesus everywhere I go.

I surrender my plans, my time, my resources.
Even if no one sees or applauds, let me be faithful.
Because when you use me, Lord, I become part of something eternal.

We declare: Use me, Lord.

Word 6: BLESS ME

Father, we ask in faith: Bless me, Lord.
Not out of greed, but because we know you are a good Father.

Bless me with wisdom.
Bless me with peace.
Bless me with provision to meet needs and bless others.
Bless me with health, strength, and opportunities that align with your purpose.

Bless not only what I have, but who I am—my heart, my mind, my words, my actions.

We declare: I am blessed to be a blessing. My cup overflows with goodness, mercy, and opportunities.

Word 7: PROTECT ME

Father, protect me today.
Protect my body from sickness, my mind from lies, my heart from bitterness.

Protect my family. Surround my home with angels.
Be my shield, my fortress, my hiding place.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper.
Guard me from danger, accidents, and temptation.
I hide under your wings. I stand in your covering.

We declare: Protect me, Lord. I am safe in your hands.

Word 8: PROVIDE FOR ME

Lord, you are Jehovah Jireh—the God who provides.
You gave manna in the wilderness, oil that never ran dry, bread that fed thousands.

Provide for me today.
Provide food, shelter, and resources for my family.
Provide wisdom for decisions.
Provide peace, joy, and faith for my spirit.

Your supply is endless. Your riches are greater than lack.
So, I trust you: Provide for me, Lord, so I can provide for others.

Word 9: FILL ME

Father, without your Spirit we are empty.
So today we pray: Fill me, Lord.

Fill me with your presence until there is no room for fear or doubt.
Fill me with wisdom, peace, joy, and faith.
Fill my mind with truth, my heart with love, my mouth with kindness, my hands with generosity.

When I am filled, I will overflow.
When I am filled, others will see you in me.

We declare: Fill me, Lord, until I overflow.

Word 10: SEND ME

And now, Lord, we close with this word: Send me.
You did not fill me to sit still.
You did not bless me to keep it for myself.

Send me to encourage, to pray, to heal, to serve, to love.
Send me into my workplace as a light.
Send me into my family as a peacemaker.
Send me into my community as a servant.

I may not see the whole plan, but I trust you.
Like Isaiah said, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.”

We declare: Send me. I am ready. I am yours.

Final Declarations

Father, we thank you for these 10 morning words:
Thank you. Forgive me. Guide me. Strengthen me. Use me. Bless me. Protect me. Provide for me. Fill me. Send me.

We seal them in our hearts.
We declare this day is covered, blessed, and led by your Spirit.

Lord, bless every person praying this now.
May their homes, families, health, work, and future be filled with peace, protection, and provision.

We close in the mighty name of Jesus Christ—
King of Kings, Lord of Lords, our Redeemer, and coming King.

And together we say: Amen and Amen.

Amen and Amen.
